Approximately $400 for a 12 week season.  Generally there is one evening game per week.  No practices unless you would like to. Rec teams are normally composed of 13 to 21 players depending upon the league.

No, everyone is welcome.  If you are just starting we can help with some basic skating and starting hockey lessons.   If you can already play, we can move you into a team at your desired level.  (Recreational Division A, B, or C.) 

Yes, if you do not wish to play contact varsity level hockey with the UH Hockey Club, We would be happy to have you.   We support and work closely with the UH Hockey program.

Yes, there are a number of skilled female hockey players in Houston.

Yes, while there is no checking and no fighting in our leagues, inadvertent contact and falling can occur.  We highly recommend you consult with your physician before undertaking strenuous physical activity.  Sprains and strains are the most common issue.  Injuries can be mitigated by, having properly fitted equipment, being in good physical condition, and properly warming up and stretching before a game. All our players must sign a waiver and code of conduct agreement.
